Nak’ulamen Performance Collective is a performance company which presents traditional works as well as contemporary performance. This group is based out of the En’owkin Centre, an Aboriginal educational-arts and ecological institute situated on the Penticton
Indian Reserve. Nak’ulamen was formed so young people of the Okanagan Nations could learn their traditional dances, songs, language and stories.
Richard Armstrong presently serves as one of the main Okanagan traditional mentors and works with the group teaching the Okanagan traditional-based songs and stories. Chris Eneas, and Delphine Derrickson also participated as mentors, teaching Okanagan language and songs in a historical and cultural context. Elder, Madeline Gregoire has spent numerous sessions teaching the group traditional Okanagan dance styles. Geraldine Manossa provides contemporary performance training and is the artistic director. En’owkin Centre, Executive Director, Jeannette Armstrong has spent many hours working with the collective on playwriting, cultural teaching stories, song and Okanagan language.

Nak’ulamen Performance Collective facilitates cultural performance workshops for all ages from pre-school to high school. The collective creates and develops workshops based on the desired outcomes of the audience or participating group.
Workshops include (but is not limited to):

* Dance/ movement
* Song/ Music
* Improv/ Theatre Sports
* Performance: Etiquette, Stage Direction, Voice Projection...
In the past, Nak’ulamen has worked with Okanagan language immersion schools, French immersion schools, Christian Schools, and the public school system to provide Okanagan cultural understanding through music, song, dance and storytelling.
