A two year professional artist training certificate program designed to protect and preserve Indigenous world-view and arts expressions in a traditional heritage format utilizing interdisciplinary works with contemporary practice.
Accredited in affilation with the Nicola Valley Institute of Technology (NVIT) THE nsyilxcen Language Certificate & Diploma are community based programs that lead syilx language learners towards completion at University of British Columbia Okanagan (UBC-O) to obtain a Bachelor of nsyilxcen Language Fluency Degree (BNLF)
This is a program in the Faculty of Fine Arts in cooperation with the University of Victoria's Cultural Resources Management Program. This certificate ladders toward a 4-year program leading to a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree.
This program, in affiliation with Nicola Valley Institute of Technology (NVIT), is designed to validate cultural aspirations and identity as well as to motivate academic excellence.
This program allows First Nation students to register in university-level courses without registering in a degree program or undergoing the University's standard admission process.
